Welcome to Steady. By creating an account or using the Steady platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the Service.

1. Service Description

Steady is a wellness support and tracking tool designed to help individuals manage the nutritional aspects of GLP-1 receptor agonist medications. The Service provides:

• AI-powered coaching conversations focused on nutrition, side effect management, and habit formation
• Daily tracking tools for meals, symptoms, weight, exercise, and hydration
• Personalized meal plan suggestions based on your tracking data
• Educational content related to GLP-1 medication management

Steady is NOT a medical service. Steady does not prescribe medications, provide medical diagnoses, or deliver clinical treatment. The Service is intended for educational and self-tracking purposes only and should be used as a complement to, not a replacement for, professional healthcare.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Steady uses artificial intelligence to generate coaching conversations, meal plans, and other content. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or information that is not appropriate for your specific medical situation
• All AI-generated recommendations should be verified with your healthcare provider before acting on them
• AI coaching is not a substitute for professional medical judgment, licensed dietitian services, or clinical nutrition therapy
• You use AI-generated content at your own risk and discretion
• The quality and accuracy of AI responses may vary and cannot be guaranteed

3. Medical Disclaimer

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• You must continue following your healthcare provider's instructions regarding your medication, dosage, and treatment plan
• Any changes to your medication, dosage, diet, or treatment regimen must be discussed with and approved by your healthcare provider before implementation
• The nutritional guidance provided is general in nature and may not account for all of your individual health conditions, allergies, medication interactions, or dietary restrictions
• You are solely responsible for your health decisions and should always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Use at your own risk. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied
• Steady, its creators, affiliates, and employees shall not be held liable for any health outcomes, medical complications, adverse reactions, injuries, or other issues arising from your use of the Service
• We are not liable for any decisions you make based on content, recommendations, or information provided through the Service
• We are not responsible for technical errors, data loss, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in the Service
• In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to use the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim

5. Data & Privacy

We take the security of your information seriously. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

• We collect and store personal information including your name, email, health-related tracking data (weight, meals, symptoms, exercise), and survey responses
• Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Service, including generating personalized meal plans and coaching recommendations
• We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• Voice coaching sessions may be recorded and transcribed for the purpose of generating session summaries and improving the Service

HIPAA Disclaimer: Steady is not a "covered entity" or "business associate" as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). While we employ commercially reasonable security practices, the Service is not subject to HIPAA compliance requirements. If you require HIPAA-compliant health data management, please consult your healthcare provider.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

6. User Responsibilities

As a user of the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and using tracking features
• Use the Service only for its intended purpose of personal wellness tracking and nutrition support
• Not rely on the Service as your sole source of medical or nutritional guidance
• Report any technical issues, errors, or concerning content through the in-app support feature
• Not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access the Service through your account
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or exploit the Service or its underlying technology
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the Service

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

• You violate these Terms & Conditions
• You use the Service in a manner that could harm other users, the Service, or third parties
• We are required to do so by law or regulation

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support through the in-app support feature. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with applicable data retention requirements.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.

10. Acceptance

By creating an account, checking the "I agree" box during signup, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
